What’s happened to the Pigsty???
I’ts been over a month since we’ve had an update, butI’ve had a lot going on, got married, gone to see the real Taliesin at Porthmadog, spent a week in hospital, and completed a rather complicated proof of concept that took a few attempts to get working and a few days tp run. I’ve also been working on my own layout!
I was rather excited this morning to find that the Blender plugin had successfully generated a fully clad, fully tiled model, all on its own.!
The basic Blender plugin…
This is a Blender Plugin. Blender is the tool I use to generate and edit the 3d models. By using the plugin, you’ll be able to do the same with minimal knowledge.
I need to add more controls in but as it stands, you can create a building (based on a template), rename it and save the file. You can save and load the config and generate (quickly) a model with no cladding or else generate (over a few days) a fully clad (inside and out), fully tiled model. This is very much a technical proof of concept and it worked!! I have lots more to do, but the pigsty is still very much on track.
